On behalf of our customers we are looking for an **Senior Accountant (m/f/d) **in the greater Düsseldorf area as part of our service of direct personnel placement.

Your tasks

• Responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
• Supervision of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger accounting
• Preparing VAT returns and tax-related reports
• Conducting account reconciliations and accrual postings
• Supporting audits and liaising with tax consultants and auditors
• Preparing management reports and analyses

Your profile

• Degree in business administration or completed training as accountant / balance sheet accountant (IHK)
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in an international environment
• Very good knowledge of HGB and IFRS
• Excellent English skills, German beneficial
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Navision)
• Analytical thinking, accuracy and hands-on mentality
