• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or a professional accountancy qualification from a recognized univer-sity
• 5 years of experience in the field of financial accounting or auditing with profound local GAAP and tax knowledge
• Very good knowledge in SAP, SAP BW and Microsoft Office, HFM knowledge is an advantage
• Fluent in German and English is a must
• Proactive mindset and strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills and strong in building working relation-ships and gaining credibility

• Oversee local tax obligations and manage quarterly tax activities supported by the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC)
• Calculation of current and deferred tax as well as preparation of local corporate income tax returns supported by external service provider
• Support the quarterly and annual financial reporting processes in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP standards
• Close cooperation with the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC) regarding the processes related to Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP) und Record-to-Report (RtR)
• Coordination of the internal control framework (ICF) and execu-tion of local accounting and tax controls
• Contact point for external auditors and service providers to sup-port the day-to-day operations in Germany (tax and accounting firms)
• Oversee the correct booking of transactions and documentation of transfer pricing activities
• Project support related to accounting and tax processes
