Your responsibilities

• Manage and be part of a highly motivated team of Project Development Managers from various backgrounds and seniority
• Manage major development projects and programs from initial ideation and take end-to-end responsibility by steering the project resources towards technical, commercial and permitting maturity until the approval of your final investment proposal
• Ensure the capability development in your team to deliver these projects
• Ensure milestone adherence within a number of projects, envisage next steps and reduce the project team´s hurdles towards project delivery
• Collaborate with the GP&H Management team to jointly deliver the targets of New Green Power and Gas
• Supervise the development and implementation of a "site vision” which is defining the transformation of today’s Uniper’s sites combining existing assets with new opportunities
• Shape the agenda for a specific location and coordinate all site relevant initial development activities by considering innovative business / operating models and creating entrepreneurial spirit

Your profile

• University degree in relevant studies or similar education, e.g. engineering, business administration, physics
• Minimum of 5 years of in-depth expertise and proven track record in actively developing and managing large projects, preferably related to power generation, infrastructure or heavy industry
• Experienced in guiding international teams and complex multi-company business development activities
• Strong personal credibility up to successful Board presentations, excellent team-working skills, ability to build strong working relationships across the Uniper Group, strong stakeholder management skills
• Creative and open-minded person with fresh mindset, ability to think out of the box and excellent communication skills
• Professional command of local language and English (another language of a Uniper core country beneficial)
• Willingness to show strong local presence at respective site location
