Your responsibilities

We are looking for a very experienced Senior Manager/Program Manager to own and deliver some of the large/complex Trading programs.

Trading IT is a global function that looks at delivering technology solution for our Trading business. These include Gas, Power, Coal, LNG, Renewables and locations in Germany, UK and NA.

We are looking for good communicators that understand the Energy trading business and the systems that are used. A structured approach to project methodology, change management is important.

You should have delivered large enterprise scale programs and projects and dealt with complex stakeholders and international teams.

• Own and steer large Trading programs (2m Eur plus)
• Manage complex Trading programs, create new strategies to deal with program complexities
• Business partner for the programs
• Create program governance and change management processes
• Create Program Strategic initiatives and/or being responsible for the deliveries of the Team
• Manage and coordinate the Interface to 3rd Party Suppliers (Software Vendors, Integration Partners and external Consultancies)
• Manage and coordinate the Interface to global teams and senior stakeholders
• Effectively combining the Domain knowledge with the capability of steering the Team and the subsequent Project delivery
• Budget responsibility for the programs
• End 2 End project delivery

Your profile

• Minimum of 4 yrs experience in Energy Trading IT
• Minimum 4 yrs ETRM experience
• Minimum 5 yrs project management experience
• A passion to combine Business and IT and driving change forward
• Several years of professional experience in a similar function (i.e. Team Lead, Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, etc.), preferably in the energy sector.
• University degree in Information Technology, Engineering, a digital area or equivalent professional experience.
• Long term professional experience in the field of Project Management and proved track record of successfully delivering solutions
• Ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood, authoritative and actionable manner
• An integrative and pragmatic personality with the ability to effectively implement change and effective stakeholder manager.
• Strong service and customer orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Must have worked and steered offshore teams
• Must have owned significant project deliverables in large programs
• Strong team player able to demonstrate experience of working in an international team
• Strong analytical and structured way of thinking, high organizational skills and IT affinity
• Ability to work both independently and within a team in combination with the willingness to accept responsibility
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in order to facilitate workshops, present to senior stakeholders and conflict resolution
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, proficiency in German or other languages is a plus
• A number of year experience with ETRM (Endur) a plus
• Experience short term trading IT a plus. (Dispatch systems)
• Experience with North American Gas and Power a plus
• Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of additional languages would be a plus
