As the Corporate Supplier Management Expert (f/m/d) at Siemens Energy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our global supply chain operations. Acting as a strategic thought leader and trusted advisor, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing innovative supplier management strategies that drive exceptional business results, enhance innovation, and elevate the Supply Chain Management (SCM) function to new levels of excellence. This is a key position, designed to make a lasting impact on Siemens Energy’s global operations and success.
How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Definition and implementation of global supplier management strategies, with a focus on innovative methodologies, processes, and tools that enable a sustainable, resilient, and high-performing supply base.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Logistics, Finance, and other key stakeholders, to ensure a harmonized and efficient global end-to-end supplier management process.
  • Creation and governance of frameworks for supplier segmentation and relationship management, including the oversight, monitoring, and structuring of related activities.
  • Acceleration of digitalization and simplification, driven by transformative initiatives that enhance transparency, optimize processes, leverage digital tools, and generate sustainable value to strengthen the strategic impact of SCM.
  • Upskilling of the SCM community through the development and delivery of world-class training programs on supplier-management methodologies, processes, and tools, as well as the provision of expert support to the global SCM community on supplier-management-related topics.
  • Driving global knowledge sharing and best practices through systematic knowledge exchange for synergies, collaboration, and efficiency, combined with advancing innovation and operational excellence through simplification, digitalization, and transparency to ensure sustainable value for Siemens Energy’s SCM organization.

What You Bring
  • University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field, combined with fluency in English and optional additional language proficiency (e.g., German).
  • Extensive experience in strategic procurement, supplier management, or quality management functions.
  • The combination of exceptional analytical and conceptual skills with a results-oriented, hands-on mindset enables the tackling of complex challenges and the development of actionable, high-impact solutions.
  • Expert-level knowledge of SCM methodologies, tools, and techniques, providing a solid foundation for confident and authoritative leadership.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, demonstrated through exemplary conduct, team guidance, and a high level of team-oriented collaboration.
