For our project in Duisburg, we are searching for a Senior Electrical HW / FW Development Engineer (m/f/x) in fulltime for 12 months in personnel leasing at our customer.

For this position, we can only consider applicants who are already living in Germany, due to timely urgency.

Electrical HW/FW Development Engineer (m/f/x) 1530

Your responsibilities:

• Develop hardware concepts and schematic designs based on customer and system requirements
• Design and implement high-speed digital and analog circuits using state-of-the-art EDA tools
• Execute signal integrity and electromagnetic simulations
• Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, validation and electrical measurements in the lab
• Build and test ad-hoc modifications and prototypes
• Collaborate closely with embedded firmware developers project managers and system architects
• Actively contribute to design reviews and technical decision-making in a cross-funcional and international R&D environment
• Support test automation and data analysis using Python, Perl and Shell scripting
• Support in system diagnostics development

Your profile:

• Already living in Germany and able to relocate to Duisburg area
• Bachelors or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
• Strong knowledge of high-speed serial interfaces (e.g. USB 3.x, PCIe Gen 4/5/6) and signal transmission
• Experienced in schematic capture and PCB layout supervision (preferably using Siemens tools)
• Experience with embedded systems and Linux envirionments
• Good programming skills in Python, Perl and C for automation and analysis tasks
• Hands-on expereience in lab measurements, prototyping and debugging
• Proficient with simulation tools (e.g. SPICE, HyperLynx, CST, ADS)
• Agile mindset, self-driven and result-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global, interdisciplinary team
• Fluent in English is requred, German is a plus
• Primary location: Duisburg, Germany, occasional travel to toher locations
