A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic Dry Gas Seal (DGS) cell in Duisburg, where you will immerse yourself in the exciting world of DGS development and repair, including work with other OEMs. Imagine collaborating with the DGS workshop, test rigs, engineering teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors in a fast-paced and motivating environment. As a key coordinator, you will bridge communication between our Center of Competence (CoC) in France and our Duisburg factory, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective information flow across sites.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage the repair of “Other OEM” Dry Gas Seals, ensuring smooth communication with both internal and external customers.
- Support the quoting team by providing insights for repair proposals and issuing inspection reports for DGS inspections.
- Oversee order management activities using SAP, ensuring timely processing and tracking.
- Manage repair, assembly, and testing activities, generating comprehensive test reports to document outcomes.
- Collaborate with other service centers to standardize global repair network processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage testing activities by coordinating the test schedule for R&D projects and repair jobs, while ensuring test rig maintenance, upgrades, and instrument calibration.
- University Degree in engineering or a similar background with technical expertise.
- A strong quality and safety orientation to uphold the highest standards.
- Project and process management skills to drive initiatives forward.
- Excellent organizational skills to keep tasks on track and efficient.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration as well as a proactive mindset that embraces challenges and seeks solutions.
- Fluency in English to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
