Ihre Aufgaben
- Analyzing and extending existing software systems and applications in a heterogeneous, complex IT system environment based on an IBM mainframe architecture with the systems DB2, IMS / CICS etc.
- Software development with COBOL, SQL, JCL for mainframe software
Ihr Profil
- Completed studies in practical / applied computer science or training as an IT specialist
- Experience in the mainframe environment with COBOL and in the conception of software as well as tuning options with practice in database modeling
- Practical experience with complex SQL queries as well as database performance analyses and their optimization
- Confident handling of database management systems, preferably DB2 and the associated database languages and tools
- Knowledge of the structures in TWS / OPC for setting up automated batch processes
- Practical experience in IT project management, e.g. process risk analysis, requirements management, business client communication
- Analytical and strategic thinking as well as a solution-oriented approach
- Good English language skills, knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage
