We are pioneering the Large Deployable Antenna Technology development in Europe aiming European and worldwide markets. As a motivated PA Engineer (m/w/d) you will be assigned tasks of different projects such as inspections, non-conformance reports, failure analysis (FMEA) that ensure the quality of the product.
Tasks
- Product assurance activities throughout product development and production.
- Interface with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Lead/support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for product issues in scope of non-conformity process.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ECSS Standards, ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, etc.).
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Oversee product testing and validation processes.
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications and regulatory standards.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Develop/update and maintain documentation including inspection plans, test protocols, and qualification reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform internal NRB, non-conformances and internal MRRs, TRRs.
- Participate in Projects Milestones as PDR, CDR, QR.
Requirements
- Experience and thorough knowledge of applying the standards relating to the European space industry (ESA-ECSS, NASA, etc.) as well as experience with Space Quality Standards and their preparation and implementation.
- Master’s degree in engineering or technical sciences is beneficial.
- At least 3 years’ experience in PA/QA Engineering capacity within the European space/aerospace industries.
- Strong knowledge of Product Assurance, Safety and Quality Management disciplines.
- Experience in configuration management, quality auditing or assessor certification are beneficial.
- Excellent English skills (oral and written), German is beneficial but not necessary.
- Proficiency in documentation version control, design review and sign-off processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated team player, flexible and willing to learn with a highly detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You have the ability to cope well under pressure and work within tight timeframes.
