We are on the hunt for an eagle-eyed Quality Inspector who will be the guardian of excellence for all our incoming and outgoing materials, products, and manufacturing procedures.

Tasks

• Inspecting products and materials according to quality standards, technical drawings, procedures and plans.
• Documenting inspection results and reporting any defects or non-conformities.
• Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager.
• Run statistical studies such as reproducibility and capability.
• Maintain and update quality inspector records.
• Perform detailed inspections of space components and mechanical parts using precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Verify that products meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Quality Inspector or similar, relevant role with at least 3 years of experience.
• Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
• Strong knowledge in Space standards as ECSS, ASTM, and MIL etc.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to document results and create reports.
• Education/Certification in relevant field (e.g. engineering, safety, quality control).
• Responsible and trustworthy individual.
• Highly detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English skills (written and oral), German is beneficial but not necessary.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, knowledge of ISO 9100 and Certification of quality control (ISO 9000 etc.) is highly desirable.
