Vice President, Global Construction Execution (EMEA) (m/f/d)

NTT is currently looking for a Vice President, Global Construction Execution (EMEA) (m/f/d). The Vice President, Global Construction Execution (EMEA) is a key executive role reporting directly to the Vice President Global Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for the construction of capital infrastructure investment in EMEA. Playing a critical role in overseeing and managing construction projects for the organization. Providing strategic direction and leadership to ensure successful project delivery within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

This is a full time hybrid role based in the UK, France, Ireland, Germany or Netherlands.

What you will do

• Project Management: Lead and oversee construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the construction department, aligning with the organization's overall goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for growth, process improvement, and cost optimization.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of construction professionals, including project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment, promoting teamwork and individual development.
• Vendor and Contractor Management: Liaisons with supply chain to evaluate performance of general contractors and other suppliers to ensure compliance execution, quality, and safety standards.
• Budgeting and Financial Management: Liaisons with project controls to in reporting to senior management, highlighting project performance and potential risks.
• Quality Assurance: Work with CX/Quality team to ensure quality assurance programs are construction met or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities. Communicate project updates, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships with all parties involved.

What we are looking for

• Extensive experience (15+ years) in construction management, preferably in a leadership role within the construction industry
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree (beneficial)
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis
• Proficiency in project management software, construction management tools, and MS Office suite
• Understanding of engineering/engineering background
• Proven experience in implementing processes in a rapid growth environment
• Knowledgeable of the principals of operating in compliance with each state where NTT is located and Federal OSHA standards and regulations
• Knowledgeable of construction law and contracts
• Skilled at developing and understanding critical path method construction schedules
• Skilled at creating and maintaining a collaborative design/construction/operations environment in a global culture
