We are looking for interested and motivated people between mid May and mid October to 3-4 months period, in full time (38 hours per week) to support our plant tissue culture activities at our headquarters in Einbeck through the high workload period as part of a temporary seasonal contract. The position will be filled with in KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA.

Your tasks:

• Carry out all sterile laboratory work steps in connection with the production of double haploid lines by using different tissue culture procedures
• Support the preparation of the plant material for ploidy analysis
• Take part in double haploid production related glasshouse activities (such as harvest)
• Registration of all work steps by using LIMS applications
  

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training or high level of interest in laboratory work without experience
• Working in sterile environment is advantage but not essential
• High level of motivation and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good German or good level of English with basic level (A1-2) of German knowledge is essential
• Available to work from 6am until 2:45pm and occasionally on Saturdays
