Aufgabengebiet
- Translate customer requirements and market trends into formal technical specifications for body features (e.g. central locking, anti-theft, terminal control).
- Derive system requirements from technical specifications, ensuring clarity, traceability, and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee design, development, integration, and validation of body control modules.
- Manage and mentor a team of system engineers (15+ people), overseeing their work on requirement derivation, modeling, validation and architecture tasks.
- Ensure compliance with ASPICE standards (Sys.1, Sys.2, Sys.3) in system engineering and development.
- Collaborate with OEMs (e.g. VW, MB, BMW, Stellantis) to meet their specific requirements, quality expectations, and validation needs.
- Use and oversee modeling / simulation tools such as Matlab / Simulink / Stateflow, including model-based design.
- Manage code generation using tools like Embedded Coder or TargetLink.
- Participate in validation activities (e.g. test planning, integration testing, verification) of embedded systems.
- Coordinate across project teams (e.g. software, hardware, testing) to ensure project milestones are met.
Anforderungsprofil
- 8+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Systems engineering.
- Deep experience in System Architecture design, especially for body systems (locking, anti-theft, control terminals).
- Strong System Engineering skills (requirements engineering, modeling, verification & validation).
- Hands-on experience with ASPICE processes (System level: Sys.1, Sys.2, Sys.3).
- Experience working with major OEMs (such as VW, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Stellantis) thus familiar with their workflows, quality and validation expectations.
- Proficiency in modeling tools: Matlab / Simulink / Stateflow.
- Experience in code generation tools / workflow: Embedded Coder, TargetLink etc.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver projects with teams.
- Fluency in German (profesional work proficiency or native level).
