They design, validate, and launch advanced propulsion systems, integrating hardware, software, and innovation across features like drive modes and energy management.

Aufgabengebiet

• Translate customer needs and market / industry trends into technical specifications for electrified powertrain features (e.g. drive modes, torque delivery, energy management).
• Oversee the development and validation of propulsion systems to ensure they meet those specifications.
• Manage system engineers; ensure that system requirements are properly derived from technical specifications.
• Engage with customers / OEMs locally, collaborate on alignment of feature requirements, testing and validation - sometimes travel may be required (within Germany or to head office).
• Support building up a local German team; contribute to local presence and capability in the region.

Anforderungsprofil

• Strong domain knowledge in propulsion / powertrain architecture, especially for electrified systems (energy management, drive modes, torque delivery).
• Experience in validating propulsion systems (test, simulation, validation).
• Strong system specification writing, requirement derivation.
• Fluency in German (profesional work proficiency or native level).
