We look forward to your application as AI / Machine Learning Developer (m/f/d) for our newest product at CHECK24 Vergleichsportal Explorer GmbH in Erfurt.

• Spearhead the development of machine learning and AI applications for our new product Explorer
• Research and implement state of the art machine learning methods with initial focus on recommendation
• Develop and implement a production-ready recommendation engine from scratch (later also other ML services)
• Think beyond the machine learning model by implementing professional data pipelines and MLOps workflows
• Maintain and continuously optimize deployed machine learning systems
• Ensure interpretability and explainability of implemented models
• Communicate with software developers, product managers and management to set goals and create best customer facing solutions
• Targeted analysis and evaluation of customer journey data (search data, booking data, usage data, ...)

• 3-4 years of professional experience in developing machine learning and production application of AI services, ideally in the areas of recommendation and ranking systems
• Strong conceptual thinking coupled with problem solving skills through utilizing statistics and machine learning
• Solid programming experience with Python, confident handling of the main libraries/frameworks for machine learning (e.g. Scikit-learn, Tensorflow)
• Experience in working with relational databases (esp. SQL) and other data storage concepts (ElasticSearch, Redis)
• Enthusiasm for taking machine learning and AI services from concept to production by using software engineering skills and state of the art cloud services
