The HMU Health and Medical University Erfurt and the Helios Klinikum Erfurt are looking for a full-time (0.5 FTE HMU / 0.5 FTE Klinikum) doctor in further training (m/f/d) in trauma surgery/orthopaedics to join the team at the university campus in Erfurt as soon as possible.
What you can expect
As a doctor in further training (m/f/d), you will represent trauma surgery/orthopaedics in teaching in cooperation with the corresponding specialist representatives/professors of the clinical study section in the human medicine course.
Your teaching will take the form of seminars, practicals and bedside teaching.
You will have access to comprehensive teaching materials and our MedTeach teaching station with excellently equipped skills labs.
You will take the examinations together as a team and contribute to the further development of the curriculum.
A structured further training curriculum with full authorization for further training as a specialist in trauma surgery/orthopaedics enables you to complete comprehensive further training with employment for the entire duration of your specialist training.
Involvement in trauma surgery/orthopaedic/spine surgery clinical patient care is part of your professional qualification.
If you would like to do a doctorate, obtain an additional specialist qualification or further training in higher education up to a Master's degree in Medical and Health Education, we expressly support this.
The entire scientific and research structure of the university and the clinic is available to you for further scientific qualifications.
What you bring with you
You have a degree in human medicine and a license to practice medicine. A completed doctorate would be desirable.
You are currently undergoing further training to become a specialist in trauma surgery/orthopaedics.
Ideally, you already have teaching experience or very good didactic skills.
You are confident, competent and personable towards our students and patients.
In addition to your specialist skills, you have proven communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
