We are looking for trainees as surgical assistants / OTAs (m/f/d) at our hospital on September 1st of each year.

• Work in all operating theaters at the hospital, including assisting in the operating rooms and supporting the doctors during surgical procedures
• Diverse tasks and activities according to instructions in the various specialist areas of the surgical service
• Preparation and follow-up of the surgical unit, instruments, materials and equipment, documentation of necessary data
• Operation and control of the medical devices used, after instruction
• Responsible collaboration in a multi-professional team in the OR
• Patient care before, during and after operations

• You are open-minded, motivated and enjoy and are interested in training in the healthcare sector
• A good secondary school certificate or secondary general school certificate with at least two years of vocational training or a professional license as a nursing assistant, or a technical college or university entrance qualification
• German language skills of at least level B2
• A sense of responsibility, prudent independent work and a friendly and empathetic approach to patients and staff are a matter of course for you
• Interest in medicine, natural sciences and technology
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles; proof of health suitability
