At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a part-time medical assistant for the position of Coordinator of the Child Protection Group and Child Protection Outpatient Clinic (m/f/d) for our Pediatric Surgery Clinic in Erfurt.

• Obtaining information from the care environment of children with KWG (child welfare risk)
• Assessment, organization and documentation of case conferences for children and families with suspected child endangerment
• Coordination of the various specialist departments at the KSG: pediatric clinic, pediatric surgery, gynecology, radiology, child psychiatry, ENT, maxillofacial surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology
• Information and advice, as well as support for social services in the application process for medical rehabilitation measures and aftercare for these children
• Advice on benefits in accordance with SGB V, SGB IX, SGB XI and SGB XII
• Assisting with the preparation of expert reports on child protection issues as well as documentation and statistics
• Knowledge of trauma management and crisis intervention - Dealing with the youth welfare office and social services (care procedures and powers of attorney)

• Completed training as a medical assistant or doctor's assistant (m/f/d)
• Personal, professional, communicative, methodical skills and knowledge for the successful management of children and families in the context of child protection
• Knowledge of social legislation (in particular SGB V, IX, XI and XII) would be desirable
• Competence in advising on network structures for early help as well as social competence towards the people and professional groups involved
• IT skills, SAP user
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
