The matrix agency as part of the matrix group accompanies projects with

zdi.NRW – Future through Innovation.NRW We are looking for a product manager who will help manage and further develop the digital landscape of the NRW-wide project and get new ideas rolling.

• Strategic foresight and operational control: You are responsible for part of the digital product landscape of the zdi.NRW project and will consistently develop it further.
• Requirements management & product ownership: You collect requirements from the team and users, prioritize them, and ensure their implementation.
• Development and support: You coordinate external and internal developers for websites, learning platforms and digital tools.
• AI innovation: You identify possible applications of artificial intelligence and implement innovative solutions.
• User experience in focus: You work closely with UX/UI designers and put users at the center of all developments
• Stakeholder communication: You ensure transparency in project communication and maintain close contact with project managers, customers and partners.

You bring that with you

• Experience in digital product management or as a product owner.
• Technical affinity and understanding of web technologies, content management systems (such as WordPress), learning platforms (e.g. Moodle) and AI tools.
• Passion for agile methods and user-centered product development.
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in managing teams and digital projects.
• Our focus is on collaborative design. We work together responsibly, on equal terms, and co-creatively, across departments, institutions, teams, and roles.
• Interest in and experience in the areas of (STEM) education, innovation and social change.

More than matrix

matrix is ​​a service group with two companies, matrix GmbH & KG, in which public welfare-oriented projects are implemented primarily for the public sector, but also for foundations and companies, and matrix gGmbH, in which non-profit projects are processed for similar project partners. The main focus of our team with around 70 permanent employees is on competence development. We work on this in our two market areas of management consultancy and agency. We are an owner-managed company founded 40 years ago and based at the Rittergut Haus Morp in Erkrath near Düsseldorf as well as other locations in Germany.
