Then come and join our global team as Application Developer (f/m/d) for Machine Learning based Application Development in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You develop and implement machine learning algorithms to enhance MR imaging and diagnostics.
- You collaborate closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to understand clinical requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- You design, develop, and maintain MRI applications and software tools.
- You conduct data analysis and preprocessing to prepare datasets for machine learning models.
- You evaluate and optimize machine learning models for performance and accuracy.
- You integrate machine learning models into existing MRI software and workflows.
- You stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning and MRI technology.
- You provide technical support and troubleshooting for MRI applications.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have successfully completed a university degree (Master's/Diploma) in Physics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Biomedical Engineering or similar; a PhD degree is a plus.
- You have several years of professional experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, preferably within medical imaging or healthcare.
- You have strong programming skills in languages such as Python and C++.
- You have experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- You show a solid understanding of MRI physics and imaging techniques.
- You are familiar with medical imaging standards and protocols (e.g. DICOM).
- You have experience in test driven development and unit testing.
- Preferably you have previous experience in the healthcare or medical imaging industry as well as knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices and software.
