A Snapshot of Your Day 
As part of the audit engagement team, you will significantly contribute to identifying issues and defining corrective actions that will impact important business decisions across Siemens Energy. You will evaluate compliance with operational and financial guidelines and procedures, identify the root cause of critical operational or financial issues, assess the level of impact on the business, and advise Management on defined actions to mitigate and prevent identified issues in the future.
How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Conduct risk-based internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the organization's internal controls, financial systems, and operational processes.
• Support the development and execution of audit plans, including scoping, testing, and documentation, to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry methodologies
• Be an outstanding contributor within a team of internal auditors, providing guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality audit execution and timely completion of audit projects.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions taken by various business units

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in accounting, finance, or business (CA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA or other applicable certification with experience with IFRS and FRG preferred)
• Several years professional experience within a BIG4 or NEXT10 audit firm in Risk/Internal Control Advisory or Financial Audit; candidates with a strong background in engineering-related project execution, accounting and/or internal control policies will be considered
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all management levels, with fluency in English (spoken and written), incl. German is preferred
• Solid understanding of Data Science and/or Data Analytics tools (i.e. Tableau, Alteryx etc.)
• Commitment to continuous learning and willingness to travel globally up to 50%
