A Snapshot of Your Day
The Business Analyst (f/m/d) for GT SG NM NOZ is supporting network management and Transformers/Switchgear execution units with data driven analysis and recommendation for improvements. The role has extensive interactions with key collaborators in factory global network and other central functions by collecting information, analyzing data, creating insightful reports, visualizing the performance and helping the organization to make improvement to enhance performance and contribute to further successful growth.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Take ownership of data collection, modeling, and analysis of key operational parameters across execution units
- Design, implement, and maintain dashboards and performance visualizations for defined OKRs and network management KPIs
- Develop and automate data-driven processes along the value chain (including offer management, order management, engineering, procurement, production, and logistics)
- Conduct in-depth operational analyses on factory and process performance, prepare insights, and follow up with structured reviews and reports
- Actively contribute to the continuous optimization of data, value, and process chains, helping the organization become more data-driven, agile, and efficient
- Collaborate closely with factory teams and other stakeholders to link operational performance to financial outcomes and provide actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency and profitability
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Several years of relevant professional experience in analytics, process optimization, or business operations - ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience in production-related environments is a plus.
- Proven track record in driving operational improvements and digital transformation using strong analytical and technical expertise
- Advanced proficiency with tools like SAP, Alteryx, Tableau, Snowflake, JIRA, and MS Office; ability to manage large data sets and create compelling data visualizations
- Strong communication skills in English and German, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across international teams
- Highly organized and self-driven, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure; adaptable and eager to learn in dynamic, fast-paced environments
