A Snapshot of Your Day 
As the Head of Engineering for Building Services, you will lead a team responsible for planning, implementing technical building services. Your focus will be on mechanical and electrical services, ensuring smooth operations. You will coordinate team assignments, manage resources, and collaborate closely with other departments and external partners. Developing and mentoring your team while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency will be at the core of your role.
How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Lead and strategically develop the Building Services department with a focus on mechanical and electrical services 
• Plan resources, manage recruitment, and develop personnel for Mechanical and Electrical Services 
• Ensure team availability and structure to deliver project pipelines and company objectives 
• Develop and implement continuous improvement measures in building services 
• Monitor team performance regarding time, cost, and quality targets 
• Promote workplace safety and implement Zero Harm principles in collaboration with other departments. 
• Foster an open feedback culture and support employee development based on strengths and potential

What You Bring

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable training/qualification 
• Plan resources, manage recruitment, and develop personnel for Mechanical and Electrical Services 
• Experience in leading and developing international teams 
• Experience in the field of HVDC systems is an advantage 
• Proficient handling of resource planning, planning tools and processes 
• Ability to work in a team, precise work, a high degree of initiative and flexibility as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required 
• Business fluent in English (spoken and written) – knowledge of German desirable
