Your new responsibilities:

• Leading and budgeting the Competence Center and the Manufacturing Technology 1 team, both located in Berlin
• Inventing and developing electromechanical manufacturing technologies like flexible manufacturing toolboxes to enable scalable product platforms for global industrialization
• Ensuring a high customer intimacy, fast prototyping and lean production concepts
• Developing manufacturing technologies with focus on high power interconnection technologies, electrical isolation technologies, stator production technologies, rotor production technologies
• Decreasing scrap costs, material costs, investment risks, validation failures and time to market as well as increasing the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and first pass yield
• Defining concepts for equipment, cycle times, production costs and product quality in combination with detailed design for manufacturing analysis and robust manufacturing processes according to design for six sigma standards
• Establishing and steering partnerships with industry partners and universities to accelerate the development speed and to perform international benchmarks

Your profile:

• University degree in the fields of Engineering, Economics or a comparable field of studies
• Several years of professional experience, preferably in the automotive area
• Fundamental experiences in production technologies and -structures
• Business fluent English skills, German skills are beneficial
• Target based, strategic and innovative working style with focus on entrepreneurship
• Ability to work, motivate and convince teams to deliver the best results
• Strong communication skills
