As the Head of Strategic Portfolio Management (m/f/d) for Digital Grid, you will craft the strategic direction of our portfolio within Grid Technologies. You’ll lead a high-performing team and collaborate across functions to drive growth through innovation, partnerships, and market insight.This role is pivotal in aligning our digital offerings with market needs, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring our portfolio remains competitive and future-ready. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, partners, and customers to translate strategy into action.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Define and evolve the Digital Grid portfolio through critical initiatives, market analysis, and business model innovation.
- Coordinate key programs including M&A, strategic partnerships, and co-creation with customers.
- Evaluate digital technologies and trends to ensure our offerings are differentiated and aligned with customer needs, drive early engagements with customers via a co-creation approach
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and execution of strategic priorities.
- Develop and implement impactful communication and marketing initiatives to position Digital Grid in the market.
- Build a strong understanding of regional dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape to advise strategic decisions.
What You Bring
- A university degree or equivalent experience in engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degrees (e.g., Master’s, MBA) will be a plus
- Long term experience in strategic portfolio management, preferably in energy systems or digital technologies.
- Strong leadership background with experience in leading teams and complex, cross-functional projects.
- Familiarity with digital solutions in the energy sector (e.g., Grid Simulation & Planning, Grid Software, Automation, Digital Twins, Condition Monitoring).
- Experience in strategy with a practical approach and the ability to communicate complex ideas to C-level stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration skills and a global, inclusive attitude.
- Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
