Your tasks:

• Supporting and coordinating the implementation of the municipal heating plan (Masterplan Wärme 2030) as well as issued project goals for the heating transition together with central partners and external service providers on the basis of the municipal heating plan
• Fleshing out the heating plan in innovative supply and district concepts in collaboration with the relevant departments
• Public relations work on heating transition topics and representation of the city of Erlangen in energy-related working groups at city and regional level
• Initiating and supporting research projects in the field of climate-neutral energy supply and assisting with funding applications

Your profile:

• Completed Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, renewable energies, supply engineering or comparable courses of study with a focus on energy management, energy technology, energy systems or renewable energies or career qualification for the third qualification level, specialist career path "natural science and technology", specialist focus on civil engineering and environmental services
• Competence and practical experience in the climate-neutral orientation of (urban) energy systems and in the use of digital instruments in the field of energy management
• Experience with construction management and approval procedures and in general construction law as well as in public relations and campaign management as well as relevant professional experience in project development / project management in the field of renewable energies is an advantage
• Legal knowledge of the EEG, GEG, EnWG and WPG is desirable
• High level of teamwork and communication skills, negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours
