We develop and implement digital solutions, oversee the tax technology landscape, foster a global community, and drive digital transformation. We are seeking a motivated Junior Solution Engineer (f/m/d) with a passion for data analytics and tax technology to join our team!
You will support our team in using technology and data-driven solutions to enhance tax processes, ensure compliance, and provide actionable insights.

This will be your impact:

• Collaborate with individuals across the tax function in various regions to understand their needs and develop technological solutions for identified concerns while learning their processes.
• Manage the ideation pipeline for digital solutions by building proof of concepts and overseeing their lifecycle from execution to implementation and maintenance, specifically focused on digital solutions for tax advice and tax compliance for cross-border business.
• Assist in implementing and testing different tax analytics solutions (e.g., using Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) and in optimizing and documenting technical and tax processes.
• Support in the development of digital tax solutions within the Mendix platform.
• Maintain exiting digital solutions to ensure their operational effectiveness.
• Empower individuals in the tax function with skills needed for the future of tax, focusing specifically on self-service development tools and analytics techniques.
• Support the team in managing strategic partnerships with external firms and organizations for knowledge sharing, cross-company collaborations, and solution viability in the open market.
• Ensure success through change management techniques, ensuring developed solutions meet or exceed stakeholder requirements and that value is clearly communicated.

This is how you'll win us over: 

• Education: Master’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., taxation, business informatics).
• Experience & Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in data analytics and associated applications (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau).
• Initial experience with coding/low-code platforms, with an ideal first experience in Mendix development.
• Basic understanding of corporate tax processes and international project business is welcome.
• First practical experience working in diverse and international teams to understand tax requirements and transform them into technological solution – e.g. through internships or working student positions is advantageous.
• Ways of working: Strong standout colleague with interpersonal skills, problem-solving attitude and a growth mindset.
• Languages: Highly proficient in English (spoken and written) is required. Knowledge of German is welcome but not required.
