Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- As an IT Portfolio Manager in the HR IT domain, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic alignment, prioritization, and delivery of IT initiatives across the HR portfolio.
- You will work closely with our IT HR leadership team, HR stakeholders, IT business analysts and other members of our agile teams to ensure that the portfolio delivers measurable value and supports the digital transformation of HR.
- You own and manage the HR IT portfolio roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and HR transformation goals.
- You facilitate portfolio-level planning and prioritization processes e.g. PI Planning and Lean Portfolio Management ceremonies.
- You drive transparency and decision-making through portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and reporting (e.g., LeanIX, ServiceNow).
- You act as a liaison between product teams, ensuring clear communication of priorities, dependencies, and risks.
- You support demand intake and evaluation and establish governance processes.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You hold a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have several years of experience in IT portfolio, program, or project management, ideally in HR IT or enterprise applications.
- We also welcome applicants with a bachelor's degree or completed vocational training and further education, combined with additional professional experience in this field.
- You convince us with your proven experience working in agile environments.
- You are familiar with HR platforms such as Workday is highly desirable.
- Experience with portfolio tools such as LeanIX or similar is a plus.
Your attributes and skills:
- You are fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
- You are a strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to translate strategy into execution.
- You have an excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- You have strong facilitation and negotiation skills, especially in cross-functional and multicultural settings.
- You convince us with your analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile, and evolving environment.
