For our client, a large energy technology and plant engineering company in Erlangen, we are looking for you as a Project Engineer (m/f/d) as part of a temporary employment contract with a takeover option.

Job description
- You will be responsible for the complex order processing for various mechanical systems such as air intake systems, exhaust systems and fire protection components including acoustic bonnets and FinFan coolers
- In addition, you will be responsible for the comprehensive controlling and reporting of all relevant project phases from the start of the project to the end of the warranty with regard to deadlines, costs and quality
- In addition, you are responsible for the preparation and careful review of all technical (enquiry) documents and thus ensure a complete and error-free documentation basis
- The detailed evaluation of incoming offers and the subsequent technical and commercial clarification with the potential supplier:
- As part of your job, you will support the implementation of technical negotiations with the suppliers and thus ensure compliance with our quality and cost targets
- Finally, you will be responsible for managing the interface coordination between internal departments, external suppliers and customers and monitor compliance with cost and schedule planning
Requirements
- You have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or a comparable technical degree programme
- In addition, you have at least three to five years of professional experience in project management or are starting your career as a young professional:in with a relevant project management background
- You are characterised by your confident knowledge of MS Office, Fabasoft and Comos Taurus, which will make your daily data maintenance and documentation management easier
- Your written and spoken German language skills at a business fluent level and good knowledge of English are essential for international coordination with customers and suppliers:customers and suppliers
- Furthermore, you have a high level of communication and teamwork skills as well as planning and organisational skills to successfully manage and complete complex projects
- Finally, you are an adaptable and adaptive personality with the necessary foresight and assertiveness and always work in a goal-oriented manner
