Senior Data & AI Cloud Platform Engineer (w/m/x)

The team

With theData & AI Factory,we are building Creditreform's central, company-wide Data & AI platform – scalable, cloud-native, and future-proof. Our mission: to provide a platform on which our teams can quickly, securely, and efficiently develop and operate data analytics and AI solutions. We think end-to-end, integrate current technologies and frameworks, and combine innovation with clear principles around security and governance.

In this context, we are looking for you as a Senior Data & AI Cloud Platform Engineer to work with us to implement this platform, continuously improve it, and transfer it into stable, productive operation.

• As part of a team, you will be responsible for the development and operation of our cloud-based data & AI platform.
• You design and implement CI/CD processes as well as Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to automate the provision and further development of infrastructure and platform components.
• You are responsible for the performance, availability, security and cost control of the platform in daily operations.
• You evaluate new technologies and integrate suitable tools, frameworks, and services into our platform architecture.
• You will work closely with our data scientists, data analysts, data engineers, and BI developers to deliver a powerful, user-friendly platform.
• You will actively contribute your experience to architectural decisions, technology reviews, and the factory's engineering governance setup.

• You have a degree in computer science, data engineering, natural sciences or a comparable field and several years of professional experience in building and operating cloud-native platforms in the field of data & AI.
• You have a long-standing passion coupled with relevant experience in building and operating data & AI platforms (especially Databricks) at a cloud provider (e.g. Azure, AWS).
• You have in-depth knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar) and CI/CD pipelines and are well-versed in the underlying principles and tools (GitLab or similar).
• You are familiar withDevSecOpsbest practices and they are an integral part of your daily work.
• You have good written and spoken German and English skills.
