A Snapshot of Your Day 
As a Senior Java Softwarearchitekt, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex Java-based applications and systems, as well as providing technical leadership and guidance to other members of the development team. You will work closely with partners, including product managers, software engineers, and quality assurance teams, to gather requirements and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable and maintainable Java-based applications, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to gather and analyze requirements, providing technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop technical specifications and system designs, effectively communicating architecture and design decisions to team members.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to development teams, enhancing their skills in Java best practices and supporting their growth.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality, while troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovative solutions as appropriate.

What You Bring

• A completed university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Software Architect, with a longstanding hands-on Java development experience, including proficiency in Java SE and Java/Jakarta EE, along with related frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in designing applications from scratch.
• Proficiency in database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL, with a solid understanding of data modeling and database design.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus. Readiness for occasional travels.
• Technical curiousity, self-motivatation, and openness to technological innovations, with a strong initiative for personal development.
