Your tasks:

• Preparation and submission of tax returns in the area of sales and income tax and processing of tax matters
• Supporting, assisting and advising municipal departments and municipal enterprises on fundamental tax law issues
• Processing loan management & guarantees, in particular borrowing, debt rescheduling, evaluations and statistics
• Accompanying the tax audit of the "City of Erlangen as tax debtor" and other external audits and implementing the results

Your profile:

• Career qualification for the third qualification level of the "Administration and Finance" career path, preferably with a specialist focus on "Taxes and Public Finance" or successfully completed Employee Training Course II (BL II) or a completed university degree in business administration (Bachelor's or Diplom (FH))
• Legal knowledge and practical experience in tax law, particularly in income, corporate income and value added tax law
• Practical experience in loan management and in municipal budgeting, cash management and accounting is an advantage
• Independent, careful and analytical way of working as well as good written and oral communication skills
• Reliability, assertiveness and strong conflict and communication skills
• Good IT and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to familiarize yourself with specialist programs
