The fully GIZ-funded project ‘Innovative Capital Mobilisation in Africa’ (ICAMA) aims at mobilising private capital for startups and growth firms in Africa, supporting sustainable development and climate goals. In addition to analysing existing challenges in the area of startup and corporate financing, ICAMA will develop and initiate three innovative financing schemes / investment vehicles that address these challenges and significantly contribute to increased capital mobilisation for entrepreneurs in Africa. This will be done jointly with the partners of the ICAMA initiative – an initiative of high-ranking decision-makers and change-makers from the financial sector, businesses and politics in Africa and the EU.
