Your role: Data Science & ML professional
As a Data Scientist (m/f/d), you will design end-to-end machine learning processes – from the initial idea to data preparation and productive deployment. You will build robust models (especially for time series data), ensure automated pipelines, and be responsible for MLOps best practices. You will work closely with Data Engineering, DevOps, and the business units to enable data-driven decisions.
Your impact with us – strategic & technological leader:- Development, training, and deployment of machine learning models, especially with time series data (forecasting, anomaly detection, etc.)
- End-to-end support of the model lifecycle: data preparation, feature engineering, model selection, validation, monitoring
- Establishment and maintenance of CI/CD/automation processes for model and pipeline deployments
- Integration into cloud environments – especially Microsoft Azure (e.g. Azure ML, Azure Data Factory, Databricks)
- Monitoring of models & infrastructure with monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana) regarding performance, drift, data quality
- Analysis and data-driven optimization of algorithm-based trading strategies
- Close collaboration with data engineers, DevOps and stakeholders: Collect requirements, deliver analyses, present insights
- Several years of professional experience as a data scientist or in a comparable role
- In-depth experience in working with machine learning models, especially with time series data
- Very good knowledge of Python and relevant ML/DS stack (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Safe handling of git
- Experience with cloud services, ideally Microsoft Azure (e.g. Azure ML, Databricks, Data Factory) and Docker
- Experience with CI/CD, MLOps concepts, automated deployments and model monitoring
- Experience with tools such as Jupyter, Airflow, Microsoft Fabrics
- Knowledge of databases – ideally time series databases or time series data processing
- Good analytical skills and structured approach, high quality standards
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented, proactive
- German and English skills at a negotiation or technical level
