At DAHLEM, around 190 employees are involved in national and international projects for livable cities and healthy waterways. Our engineering office designs sewage treatment plants, canals, dikes, supply lines, creates flood or heavy rain hazard maps, and much more at six locations. Since 1937, we have been responsible for civil engineering and building construction in urban water management and know that the consumption of energy and raw materials must be balanced in terms of sustainable use. As an IT specialist at DAHLEM, you combine technical expertise with purpose: you support our employees in their day-to-day work, design future-proof IT structures, and lay the foundation for our projects to contribute to livable cities and healthy waterways.

• You make our IT goals a reality: e.g., automated onboarding and offboarding, transparent rights distribution, automatically created mailboxes, and an integrated ticket system in Teams.
• With Powershell queries against AD and Azure, you create transparency and use automation scripts to make processes more efficient.
• You will manage our company portal and mobile device management, from software packaging and patch management to the integration of smartphones in Intune.
• License management is also part of your area of responsibility: you will review existing licenses and set up a transparent system that ensures clarity.
• You will also be involved in day-to-day business: from maintaining the IT infrastructure and providing 1st level support to hardware and asset management.
• In addition, you will independently plan and manage IT projects, keep an eye on data security and backup processes, and coordinate external service providers.

• you have completed training in the IT field (e.g., system integration, application development, system electronics).

• you have gained around five years of experience in IT/system administration.

• Powershell, Azure, Intune, etc. are not foreign words to you, but rather your everyday tools.
• You think analytically, work in a solution-oriented manner, and remain calm even in stressful situations.
• You are just as comfortable working independently as you are in a team—you are service-oriented, a strong communicator, and able to set priorities.
• You enjoy optimizing structures and want to help shape our IT landscape for the long term.
