Your roleAs a Team Lead Logistics (m/w/d), your mission is to ensure the seamless execution and continuous improvement of operational logistics across multiple sites. You will lead and develop a geographically distributed team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and adaptability. Through strategic coordination, performance monitoring, and process optimization, you will drive efficiency and reliability in goods flow, service order management, and cross-functional alignment.
You will report to the Operations Manager ACE Industrial Technique.
Your activities of scope will include
- Lead & Develop: Manage a team of 4 employees across Essen and Dingolfing, fostering continuous development and optimizing resource and space utilization.
- Operational Excellence: Monitor logistics performance, initiate corrective actions, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Strategic Planning: Play a key role in logistics planning for the new site (Q4/2025) and coordinate goods flows between Essen, Gromadka (PL), and Dingolfing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure regular alignment with adjacent departments (Customer Service, Workshop, Procurement) and represent logistics in cross-functional committees.
- Execution & Support: Manage service orders in SPIRIT, support goods receipt and dispatch during peak periods, and provide hands-on assistance and technical guidance to the team.
- Communication & Coordination: Conduct daily team meetings and act as the main contact for shipping service providers on operational matters.
- Vocational training in logistics (industrial or service sector background)
- Relevant further education is desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on operational experience
- Initial leadership experience in operational team management
- Process-oriented approach to work and self-organization
- Hands-on mentality and decision-making capability
- Experience with SAP (MM module) and a solid affinity for IT is advantageous
- Advanced English language skills

This role requires you to mainly work on-site at our office in Essen, Germany (DE) with the possibility to work remotely according to our mobile office policies. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
