Get to know an international specialty chemicals group from a wide range of perspectives during the 18‑month trainee program and prepare yourself for a management career at Evonik.
We will design the structure of the program together with you, individually tailored to your strengths and interests. Starting on November 1, 2026, you will work on exciting and challenging projects across various departments and business units of the company. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a project focusing on social and/or sustainability topics. These activities will take place together with other Evonik trainees. A three‑month stay abroad is also an integral part of the program.
Embedded in the company’s network, you will learn from the best and be supported by a senior leader who will act as your mentor. We look forward to embarking on this journey with you!

Responsibilities
As part of the trainee program, you will get to know the various tasks and functions of our Communications department and have the opportunity to broaden and apply your professional expertise in a wide range of areas
Gain insights into different fields such as internal communications, external communications, and market communications, while building a strong network within the company
Ensure a current, diverse, and positive corporate presence across internal and external digital media, and actively support ongoing company projects from a communications perspective
Conduct research and independently write editorial content, preparing it in a way that is tailored to specific target groups and media formats
Actively contribute to the implementation of internal and company-wide campaigns and bring in your creative ideas
Work with external service providers and agencies and take the opportunity to expand your network beyond the company
Requirements
Successfully completed university degree, for example in Communication Studies, Media Studies, Journalism, or the Humanities
Strong enthusiasm for writing with a keen sense for clear and comprehensible communication, as well as enjoyment of creative work and networking
Initial practical experience in the field of communications, e.g., in media or corporate communications – ideally including editorial work
Experience in digital communications, e.g., working with social media, content management systems, or digital campaigns
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, Adobe Creative Cloud)
Business‑fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, as you will be working in an international environment
Analytical and structured working style, enabling you to independently develop creative solutions, along with enthusiasm for forward‑looking topics and interest in current digital developments, especially artificial intelligence
