Your tasks
Provision and further development of the tooling infrastructure: Creation of a unified tooling landscape to support developers, to enable efficient work and to reduce technical hurdles.
Cross-departmental DevOps collaboration and establishment of best practices: Promoting the DevOps mindset, implementing best practices, and ensuring smooth collaboration and continuous improvement.
Design, operation and automation of the CI/CD infrastructure: Setup, maintenance and further development of CI/CD pipelines including build servers and artifact store to ensure stable and automated software deployment processes.
Management, expansion and scaling of the cloud infrastructure: Ensuring scalability, security and efficiency to support growing professional and technical requirements.
Your profile
Solid system knowledge and technology experience: experience with Linux, Docker and cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS; knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Vagrant, ideally complemented by Kubernetes experience.
Knowledge of programming, scripting and automation: Application of structured programming and automation, e.g. with Python, Shell or Groovy, for sustainable efficiency improvement.
Experience in modern software development and development processes: working with agile methods, using tools such as Git, and implementing business-oriented concepts such as code reviews, automated tests, and containerization.
Practical experience in CI/CD and tooling: Experience in setting up and operating CI/CD pipelines and in using Jenkins; Java knowledge, especially for developing Jenkins plugins, is an advantage.
Strong analytical and solution orientation: Structured evaluation of requirements and problems, as well as the development of pragmatic, iteratively implemented solutions.
Experience with collaboration and project management tools: Ideally, confident use of Atlassian products such as Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence for effective collaboration.
