Then come and join our global team as a Working Student (f/m/d) to support us in the area of generative AI solutions.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You will support the development and refinement of AI agents that address specific use cases - such as data structuring, quantitative and qualitative analysis or insight generation
- You use existing frameworks to assemble and fine-tune LLM-driven tools and bring your perspective to the optimization process
- In close collaboration, you will develop LLM-based applications with the OpenAI API, build scalable Python MCP servers and implement advanced data science tools and workflows
- You contribute to the customization and fine-tuning of open source models and ensure that they work task-specifically
- With your flair for innovative approaches, you help to quickly prototype new ideas, actively participate in feedback loops with users or mentors (f/m/d) and document usage processes, prompts and code to ensure clarity and reproducibility - and to enable others to continue working with your results in the best possible way

Your qualifications and experience:
- You are studying in your Bachelor's degree or at the beginning of your Master's program in computer science, AI, data science or a comparable field of study
- You are at least for one year available
- You already have good knowledge of Python, experience with AI development and at least one LLM framework (e.g. Hugging Face, OpenAI, Cohere)
- You are ideally familiar with concepts such as Model Context Protocol (MCP), prompt engineering, model fine-tuning (e.g. transfer learning) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
- You have an understanding of how LLM APIs work and practical experience in working with version control systems (e.g. Git)
Your attributes and skills:
- You have a very good command of written and spoken English
- You think analytically and love to solve problems precisely and thoughtfully - you have an eye for detail
- You communicate clearly and constructively and can contribute both independently and as a reliable team player
- You have the curiosity, motivation and openness to familiarize yourself with new tools and concepts relating to generative AI solutions and actively help shape them
