Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a defined client network, particularly asset allocators, fund buyers, and key accounts
- Position the firm’s fund strategies and develop tailored solutions for existing and new clients.
- Proactively manage the entire sales cycle: identifying opportunities, conducting qualified needs assessments, pitching, structuring proposals and contracts
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Present investment approaches, research insights, and performance analyses at client meetings, panels, and industry events
- Collaborate closely with Portfolio Management, Research, Legal, and Marketing to prepare client-relevant materials
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments within the market environment
Candidate requirements
- University degree (Economics, Finance, or related fields) or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in asset management sales – ideally with direct access to asset allocators and fund buyers
- Strong understanding of fund products, investment strategies, and competitive landscapes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident when interacting with senior decision-makers
- A well-established professional network is an advantage
- Independent, structured, and entrepreneurial working style
- Willingness to travel and flexibility
