Frankfurt School of Finance & Management’s International Advisory Services has been at the forefront of providing training and consultancy (technical assistance) for the financial sectors and beyond for almost 30 years. We deliver innovative, smart and practical solutions to strengthen global social, economic and environmental sustainability. Among our main clients are ADB, AfDB, EBRD, EC, GIZ, IFC, KfW and World Bank as as well as commercial banks and non-bank financial institutions.
For our strongly growing portfolio, we are looking for a Assistant (f/m/x) to the Head of Department with experience. The position is initially limited to 24 months.
Ihr Aufgabengebiet
- Act as a focal point for general inquiries to the department and department management
- Maintain and streamline office systems and processes, including data management and filing
- Support the onboarding process for new staff
- Organize meetings / events, including facilitation of JourFixes
- Support department management with general administrative, coordination and communication tasks, including travel arrangements / travel expense accounting, diary management and correspondence
- Support department staff with acquisition, marketing and administrative activities, including invoice processing
- Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Anforderungen
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. They excel at managing complex schedules, coordinating collaborative activities, and fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Reliability, professionalism, and a collegial mindset are essential, along with the following qualifications:
- BA degree in Business Administration or similar / trained office administrator / industrial management assistant / paralegal,
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy,
- A flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise,
- Excellent soft skills and communication skills in both English and German,
- Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality,
- Solid IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
