• Lead, guide, and coach the team in developing and implementing category and sub-category
strategies aligned with company objectives and major investments.
• Build and maintain an effective sourcing pipeline in line with annual planning and budgeting
processes.
- Identify training needs, manage team performance, and ensure KPIs are met.
- Ensure procurement policy compliance, drive improvements in cost, quality, and innovation.
- Advise senior stakeholders on sourcing, contracts, and negotiations.
- Represent Procurement externally with key suppliers.
- Monitor and report on team performance, savings, and compliance.
- Act as escalation point for supplier and stakeholder issues.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure service quality.
- Contribute to procurement standards and best practices.
- Conduct market analysis and utilize cost modelling to drive value.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 10+ years of procurement, sourcing, and category management experience, preferably in large private sector organizations.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and strategic procurement initiatives.
- Strong command of English; German is a plus.
- Procurement qualification (e.g., MCIPS) or willingness to pursue one.
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP procurement modules (e.g., SAP), and eRFX tools; contract management knowledge is a plus.
- Familiar with project management principles (e.g., PRINCE2).
- Expertise in supplier management, contract negotiations, and SLAs.
- Experience in complex, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong skills in strategic decision-making, change management, and relationship building.
- Experience in Aircraft components, maintenance services, engine and overhaul services procurement.
- Knowledge of MRO, OEM, PBH providers, PMA, and Aircraft Leasing business.
- Ability to negotiate complex, long-term contracts.
