Your Role / Tasks

• Building dynamic and complex operating/financial models for leveraged buyouts, corporate refinancings, and financial restructurings
• Analysing financial statements, capital structures, and credit documentations of our client companies to assess debt requirements / capacities, optimal financing structures, etc.
• Analysis of distressed companies using multiple methodologies, including valuation and waterfall analysis
• Coordinating lender and client calls throughout the financing process
• Preparing process documents such as requests for proposals, financing term sheets, etc.
• Preparing client presentations such as pitch, info memorandums and management presentations

Your Profile

• Up to 2 years of full-time experience in debt advisory, financial restructurings, M&A, or corporate finance through internships and/or a professional role in an investment bank, advisory boutique, private equity, or private debt fund
• Strong analytical / modelling and valuation skills
• Strong understanding of corporate finance principles, debt markets, capital structures, and accounting (HGB and IFRS)
• Strong quantitative and analytical skill set with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in German and English
