Aufgabengebiet

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d) to strengthen our product and analysis team in a OTC crypto trading house. The focus of this role is to bring structure and organization to BAU processes by ensuring that feature requests, bug reports, and deliverables are properly captured, documented, and communicated. The candidate will be hands on, in writing requirements, managing communication between departments, and creating transparency across timelines and priorities. Candidate must be able to write quick scripts to interact with api & analyse data, and be able to engage deeply with technical teams and ensure documentation and requirements are accurate and complete.

Tasks

• Write and manage detailed Feature Requests (FRs) and bug reports, ensuring clarity and completeness for developers.
• Collect, structure, and prioritize business requirements, transforming them into actionable deliverables.
• Organize and coordinate BAU processes, ensuring that issues and requests are tracked, assigned, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Act as the central point of contact between product, quant, development, and operations teams for requirements and issue tracking.
• Maintain an overview of planning, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment across departments.
• Produce and maintain structured documentation of workflows, requirements, and business processes.
• Support junior analysts by providing structure, guidance, and oversight.
• Drive communication processes to ensure transparency, accountability, and follow-through.

Anforderungsprofil

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or trading environments.
• Proven ability to capture, structure, and document requirements (FRs, bug reports, workflows).
• Strong organizational and process design skills, with a focus on BAU structure and heavy-lifting tasks.
• Familiarity with OTC trading systems and/or crypto markets is a plus
• Technical literacy to effectively communicate with developers
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum or similar frameworks is an advantage.
