Based in Frankfurt, you will work as a full-time intern within the Capital Markets – Bonds Syndicate team, which is responsible for executing transactions ranging from EMTN/private placements to benchmark transactions for Public Sector, Financial, or Corporate Issuers. During your 3-month internship, you will support senior team members in pricing, execution, and contribute to driving new digitalisation initiatives for our platform. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in the preparation of investor roadshows and reporting. This role requires close coordination with all team members and collaboration with various other functions in the bank such as Origination, Relationship Management, Sales, and Trading. As an intern, you will progressively take on more responsibilities, gaining valuable exposure and experience that could provide a stepping stone towards a future career within the DCM Team. There is a possibility to convert this internship into a working student position.
Your profile
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or other related fields.
- Strong academic performance in relevant coursework, such as financial markets, capital markets, or corporate finance.
- Strong interest and understanding of financial markets and bond syndication.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (experience with financial modeling or data analysis is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to take initiative.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
- Must be able to commit full-time for the 3-month internship period.
