Job Description
Leverage deep knowledge of two or more functional areas within the Murex platform, with hands-on experience. Understand functional processes of banks and asset managers, including dependencies and interactions between different streams. Lead design / show sessions with business communities and Murex teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design / show sessions with business users and Murex teams and provide insights to devise best available solutions for specific requirements.
- Validate and challenge functionalities delivered by Murex to meet the clients’ requirements and business processes, ensuring optimal solutions.
- Evaluate products or custom controls in and around Murex and implement proof of concepts (spike solution) to prove integration scenarios.
- For package implementations, perform gap analysis between business requirements and the package features, and design configurations, customizations, extensions, and interfaces.
- Assist the technical architect and support design and technology selection for optimal Murex setup in response to requirements.
- Consolidate Murex integration setup.
- Oversee project lifecycle from inception to go-live ensuring successful implementation and integration of Murex solutions.
- Design sprints and tranches to conclude phase deliveries.
- Contribute beyond individual modules and to the overall Murex application.
- Manage and monitor project progress and timelines, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
- Participate in end-to-end testing
Qualifications:
- Understand cross-functional processes of banks and financial institutions, including dependencies and interactions between different streams.
- Extensive experience in a similar role as business analyst within a financial institution.
- Hands-on Murex as well as project implementation experience.
- Deep knowledge in two or more functional areas within the Murex platform: forex, interest rates, fixed income, commodities equities, and other asset classes, from product configurations to pricing, simulation, valuations, P&L attribution, rules definitions, GOM setup, market data, pricing and calculation templates, and FO settings.
- Detailed Murex project lifecycle experience across streams, from inception to go-live.
- Experience in landscape changes, consolidation programs, and product migrations to Murex.
- Experience in managing test campaigns.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate successfully with diverse teams and coordinate with various stakeholders in German.
