Overview
Microsoft’s Surface Commercial business is entering a bold new phase in EMEA. As part of a newly created organization focused on driving aggressive growth, customer obsession, and partner excellence, we’re looking for a high-impact Regional Sales Leader to take Surface to the next level across 38 diverse markets.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a billion-dollar business with the agility of a startup and the scale of Microsoft. This is a role with full accountability for revenue, strategy, and execution. You’ll operate at the intersection of global ambition and local impact—connecting with C-level executives, shaping market dynamics, and empowering teams to deliver breakthrough results. You will act as the singular voice of Surface and Devices across Microsoft. This senior sales leadership role requires extensive experience in customer and partner C-Suite engagement, with a track record of accomplishment of driving revenue and growth. This senior leader has shown the capability to lead at scale across large, global sales teams.
They will have extensive familiarity with Microsoft solutions, our Partner and Channel Ecosystem, and the ability to orchestrate across that entire ecosystem both internally and externally. They are adept at leading growth transformations, strategic planning, and systems thinking, focusing on resources, talent, and opportunities. As a people leader, the leader must align with Microsoft Leadership Principles and embody the Model, Coach, Care philosophy.

Qualifications
- Proven experience, including senior sales leadership roles, managing high-performance sales and/or technical-sales teams, coaching solution sales and account development strategies, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations
- Strong and proven senior technical sales leadership experience in devices and/or cloud-based services growth.
- Strong and proven Leadership in a scale business, including experience of channel leverage & leadership.
- Strong and proven people management experience, including managing high performance sales and technical-specialist teams, coaching solution specialist and account development strategies, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations.
- Manager of managers experience.
- Hands-on experience working with enterprise AI, Cloud and Security solutions and programs, especially Microsoft’s Modern Work solutions.
- Deep familiarity with partnership business models and Global Systems Integrators (GSI) go to market.
- Proven leadership in large, complex organizations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to forge consensus and execution across diverse audiences and opinions and lead a large and diverse organization towards a common goal even in the face of ambiguity and complexity

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Shape the Business Performance, Lead and Transform the Business
- Own the Surface Commercial revenue and performance across EMEA.
- Build and execute high-impact sales strategies that unlock new customer segments and expand partner reach.
- Identify growth opportunities, set aggressive targets and lead the charge to exceed them through disciplined pipeline management and deal acceleration.
- Partner with subsidiaries to localize GTM plans and drive execution with precision.
Engage C-Level & Strategic Customers
- Build trusted relationships with enterprise decision-makers, including CIOs, CTOs, and CFOs.
- Represent Surface at executive briefings, industry events, and strategic customer engagements.
- Influence customer transformation agendas by positioning Surface as a catalyst for innovation and productivity.
Lead Field & Partner Engagement
- Align and energize field sellers, partner managers, and marketing teams around Surface priorities.
- Coach and influence teams to convert strategic priorities into customer wins.
- Collaborate with Surface PDMs to activate partner-led demand generation and solution plays.
Build High-Performing Teams
- Grow inclusive, empowered teams that deliver results and innovate boldly.

Champion Sales Enablement & Execution
- Land Surface solutions across all segments, ensuring connected sales and marketing execution.
- Drive performance through rhythm of business, pipeline management, and deal acceleration.
- Build industry presence and Surface advocacy through thought leadership and executive engagement.
Be the Voice of the Field
- Bring customer, partner, and field insights into strategy and program design.
- Lead competitive analysis and solution gap identification to sharpen GTM execution.
- Optimize resource allocation and investments using data-driven insights.
