Within the Securities and Collateral Clearing Design Section, the Collateral & Repo Clearing Design Unit oversees the functional design of the Collateral Management System and Repo Clearing Services, as well as the eligibility framework for securities collateral. We seek a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of repo business and markets and strong stakeholder engagement skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate business acumen and a talent for delivering innovative, practical solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Eurex Repo Business & Product Development team and external customers to systematically collect, define and validate requirements for new or enhanced products and functionalities
• Convert validated customer needs into business requirements and concepts and create customized solutions for repo clearing services
• Work closely with related departments across Deutsche Börse Group, such as Clearing Functionality, Clearing IT, Clearing Operations, Product Tax, CCP Regulation and Clearing Legal to ensure seamless integration of all strategic repo clearing projects and product enhancements into the operational workflow, maintaining compliance with technical, regulatory, and legal standards
• Align with external service providers on product extensions and BAU issues
• Present repo clearing topics at strategic customer committees and external forums. Support IT releases related to repo clearing from a business perspective
• Serve as the main contact for repo clearing related topics for (prospective) Clearing Members, (new) clients as well as Repo Trading Venues
• Prepare and present business initiatives to the executive management

Your profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline, or an educational background in the area of repo business
• Professional experience or profound knowledge in the repo business / markets
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
• High level of commitment and motivation, with a strong sense of responsibility
• Efficient, goal-oriented, self-reliant, and dependable Team Player
• Knowledge of IT topics and/or project management is advantageous
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus
• Familiarity with clearing and settlement processes is desirable
