Job Description
Your tasks
Your job involves being responsible for designing, developing, and automating our cloud infrastructures. You'll contribute your experience to set standards and take our DevOps practices to the next level. Here's a brief overview:
- As a (Senior) DevOps Engineer (all genders) you will develop and operate modern, scalable and secure cloud infrastructures (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
- You design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and ensure that deployments are efficient, reliable and automated.
- You will take a leading role in architectural decisions, contribute best practices, and drive the standardization of DevOps processes.
- Working closely with our Cloud Engineers and Cloud Architects, you will develop future-proof, resilient and automated systems.
- You analyze complex technical challenges, derive improvement measures and implement them sustainably.
Your profile
- You have successfully completed a degree or training in the IT field – or possess a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience (3 to 5 years) in the DevOps environment with a focus on cloud infrastructures, automation and scaling distinguish you.
- You are very familiar with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and have experience in orchestrating production systems.
- You also have knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and experience using monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).
- You are confident in your command of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) for the purpose of automating processes.
- Experience in the design and further development of CI/CD landscapes completes your profile.
- Your strengths include being able to work independently, having strong communication skills, and being able to explain complex technical topics in an understandable way.
- You have very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
