On behalf of our client, a well-known leading European asset management firm with 40k+ employees in 700+ offices in the global wide range, we are seeking a Senior Fund Finance Manager (m/w/d) to join their team in Frankfurt am Main. This role presents an engaging opportunity to supervise the financial management of real estate funds and ensure compliance with German tax regulatories and accounting standards like IFRS, HGB and US GAAP. You will be operating in a dynamic environment, offering expert guidance on fund structuring and managing investments across various European countries.

Your responsibilities:

• Expert Fund Structuring Advice: Provide expert guidance on fund structuring, including the management of SPVs (Special Purpose Vehicles), ensuring efficient and compliant investment management.
• Tax Efficiency and Real Estate Transactions: Develop and implement efficient tax structures in collaboration with the global tax team, assisting with the acquisition and disposal of real estate assets and structures.

• Coordinate and Oversee Financial Accounting: Manage and review the financial accounting processes for real estate companies and fund vehicles, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Comprehensive Financial Management: Lead the financial management of real estate funds, ensuring adherence to IFRS, US GAAP, and HGB standards, and maintaining robust financial health across all structures.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, including net asset value calculations and monthly or quarterly unit prices prepared by external auditors. Ensure timely and accurate financial and regulatory reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Banking and Cash Management: Manage banking operations, including debt, hedging, and cash management activities across the organization, optimizing financial efficiency and risk management.
• Corporate Governance and Compliance: Ensure strong corporate governance practices, preparing information for board meetings and representing the Fund Finance function in investor meetings and regulatory interactions.
• Strategic Collaboration and Optimization: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize financial strategies and enhance performance, leveraging insights and data-driven analysis.

Your qualifications:

• Extensive industry experience: More than five years of professional experience in a similar role at an asset management company or financial institution specializing in real estate finance.
• Real estate fund and market regulation expertise: In-depth understanding of real estate funds and real estate lending, with extensive knowledge of the German regulated market environment.
• Advanced fund accounting and tax knowledge: Strong mastery of fund accounting principles, including IFRS, US GAAP and HGB, combined with a comprehensive understanding of tax regulations.
• Comprehensive regulatory compliance expertise: In-depth understanding of investment laws and compliance requirements to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Analytical and Problem Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to gain insights and make informed decisions.
• Academic and professional qualifications: Relevant academic qualifications in finance, accounting or a related field, with additional certifications such as MRICS, CAIA, CFA, ACCA an advantage.
• Fluent English language skill in writing and speaking, German would be an add-up.
